Aluminum Ingot

Remelting aluminum ingots is the primary material for producing aluminum products. It is a lightweight, erosion-resistant, thermal and electricity conductive, extensible, recyclable, and eco-friendly metal material. It is widely applied in industries like construction, electricity, packaging, transportation, and consumer goods.

Aluminum Ingot – cast alloy, claimed in the creation of shaped castings, and for other purposes. The popularity of this brand is caused by the low cost of the alloy, the possibility of multiple processing, the relative plasticity, and strength. The aluminum ingot is made of copper, aluminum, and silicon. Apply sculpture, and engineering, serves to create cast aluminum cookware.

Copper Ore & Concentrate

Copper concentrate, the initial commercial product of the copper manufacturing line, is made up of almost equal amounts of copper, iron, and sulphide. Concentrates are the starting material for all copper smelters, who use it to make an impure form of metallic copper called anode or blister copper, which is then refined to produce high-quality copper. Concentrates are made by crushing and then milling ore down to a particle size that permits copper to be released by flotation. Copper concentrations in concentrates from various places range from 24 percent to 36 percent. After that, the copper concentrates go through a final filtration and drying process to reduce the humidity to 8-9 percent.

THERMAL COAL

THERMAL COAL

Coal is categorised as a sedimentary rock. It is a familiar non-renewable fuel treated primarily in the production of electricity. It is a fossil fuel as it forms from dead plant matter. The quality of coal is determined on how it formed; as the organic matter is subjected to greater heat and pressure, the carbon content increases.

Thermal coal, also recognised as steam coal, is utilised in the production of electricity.

Australia’s high quality thermal coal is much sought after internationally for its low impurities and consequent low emissions. Coal properties differ depending on how much carbon is in the coal (coal rank). Black coal is so called because of its colour; it varies from having a bright, shiny lustre to being very dull, and from being relatively hard to soft. The term ‘black coal’ is used in Australia to refer to anthracite, as well as bituminous and sub-bituminous coals. Brown coal is also called lignite; it contains less carbon and so has less chemical potential energy than black coal and has more moisture in it.

Thermal coal is a complex heterogeneous substance. Hence, it has no fixed chemical formula. Its characteristics and hence its CV vary widely. Thermal coals like other coals also contain carbon (C), oxygen (O2), and hydrogen (H2). The other constituents in thermal coals include sulphur (S), nitrogen (N2), ash, chlorine (Cl), and sodium (Na).

IRON ORE

Earth’s most important iron ore deposits are found in sedimentary rocks. They formed from chemical reactions that combined iron and oxygen in marine and fresh waters. The two most important minerals in these deposits are iron oxides: hematite (Fe2O3) and magnetite (Fe3O4). These iron ores have been mined to produce almost every iron and steel object that we use today – from paper clips to automobiles to the steel beams in skyscrapers.

Nearly all of Earth’s major iron ore deposits are in rocks that formed over 1.8 billion years ago. At that time Earth’s oceans contained abundant dissolved iron and almost no dissolved oxygen.

The iron ore deposits began forming when the first organisms capable of photosynthesis began releasing oxygen into the waters. This oxygen immediately combined with the abundant dissolved iron to produce hematite or magnetite.

These minerals deposited on the sea floor in great abundance, forming what are now known as the “banded iron formations.” The rocks are “banded” because the iron minerals deposited in alternating bands with silica and sometimes shale. The banding might have resulted from seasonal changes in organism activity.

Iron Ore, the primary use of iron ore is in the production of iron. Most of the iron produced is then used to make steel. Steel is used to make automobiles, locomotives, ships, beams used in buildings, furniture, paper clips, tools, reinforcing rods for concrete, bicycles, and thousands of other items. It is the most-used metal by both tonnage and purpose.
